We’re facing yet another ice storm. It’s supposed to ice all day on Thursday. Normally I wouldn’t mind the ice, as I find it quite beautiful. But this time it poses a huge dilemma for my daughter and me, who are traveling to Indianapolis early Friday morning for a gymnastics meet.

No school or work due to the snow and ice today! Thanks to freezing rain falling all night, there’s a layer of ice on top of the 3 inches of snow that fell yesterday afternoon. It’s quite beautiful, if you know where to look.
